151755Photo #151755Pop up Covid Cycle lane instead of the bus/cycle lane is not used very much, it has caused accidents and reduces the width of the road slowing down emergency service vehicles attending emergency incidents. Please put it back to the bus/cycle lane which it always has been - 2 park and ride routes use this route and as traffic is building up it will slow this transport down and less people are likely to use it as a quick route into town.Cycleway:

151667Photo #151667Firstly well done for putting the cycle lane up the middle of Belgrave gate after the flyover. this was a no brainer and has made my cycle commute much safer. slight improvement would be a access ramp slip way (with small speed bumps to slow cyclists as they slip onto cycle lane just before the pelican crossing. as it is cyclists have to negotiate standing pedestrians waiting at the crossing and have to brake sharply coming off the roundabout often in busy traffic (now filtering into the right hand lane leaving the roundabout) often dangerous in traffic.. Nearly excellent but not perfect as yet; encourages collision between cyclist and pedestrian here. Cyclists crossing the road after dismounting etc. IS NOT AN OPTION ..(can add 15 minutes to my 22 minute commute!) many thanks again. PS. This site is great. But I look forward to seeing if it actually guides your planning. Thankyou. I am an urban cyclist of 50 years experience and am still alive I know what I am talking about trust me :) P.Cycleway:

151665Photo #151665Recently 3-4 school buses have begun to park outside Wilko`s in the morning so on my commute across town I now face city buses on Charles street having to pull out into on coming lane fully blocking the road for cycles going through Charles street to Belgrave gate. I literally have to stop and wait for 3-4 incoming busses to turn left into the bus stands. This is NOT the city buses fault as they are forced to overtake and block the whole road. It was great last year. it is due to there being parking bays painted on the right hand side of the road where private bus companies now park. There will be a fatality here if these new buses are not told to park elsewhere. There should be NO parking along this stretch of road at all. Thank you. P.Temporary closure:

151664Photo #151664Blind corner on right looking up Tower street. road is hidden by prison wall heading if up cycle lane towards town across tower Street. Mirror needed for cyclists and pedestrians to see cars coming from right hand side. Numerous near misses and have witnessed two cyclists going over bonnet of car!. Cyclists have to stop and peer around the corner. If a large mirror was placed there it would make flow of cyclists around this busy point (eg. bus users stepping off bus into cycle lane) much safer and easier. Simple cost effective solution.Thank youCycleway:

151493Photo #151493In between Compton and top side Haddenham there needs to be a narrowed road with bollards so that cars driving from top of Haddenham Road are forced to slow down and can see cars turning in from Compton Road. 151491Photo #151491All major pavements should have signs to advise pedestrians to keep to the left in England. Makes it easier if cyclists have no choice but to use the road and allows pedestrians to socially distance more easily as people do not realise if someone is coming in-front of you, the norm is for everyone to stay left and overtake on right - all road users.Track:
